Alongside Edward’s important work being active locally in the constituency, as Melton and Syston’s MP he is your strong local voice in Parliament. In Westminster much of the work Edward, or any MP, does for local people takes place outside of the House of Commons Chamber itself, regularly meeting with visiting constituents, charities, organisations, Ministers, and others in Parliament, and supporting campaigns and causes to help drive progress on the issues that matter to people in Melton and Syston.
What goes on in the Chamber is only a part of the work of an MP, but it is of course a hugely important part, raising issues, holding the Government to account, and voting on legislation.
Here you can find Edward’s speeches, appearances, and questions in Parliament (provided by theyworkforyou).
