Edward has once again lent a hand at the annual ‘Thrussington Litter Pick’, alongside local Councillor James Poland, Chairman of the Parish Council, Tom Prior, and local residents. The event, come rain or shine, is an opportunity for the community to come together and help protect the natural beauty of Thrussington, by clearing any litter that has been discarded carelessly, in the hedges and verges of the village.
Edward said: “It is important for each of us to remember our duty to care for the environment and protect not only our beautiful local landscapes, but also the wildlife that calls it home. Of course, it is a shame that litter picking events are necessary, as we should all remember to dispose of our rubbish responsibly but as always, it was a pleasure to join the team in Thrussington despite the wind and rain, to help out at this important annual event.”
