Edward has visited Thrussington CE Primary School, to meet staff and students, and to offer his thanks and best wishes for the future, to the outgoing Headteacher, Mrs Moore.
With an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’ and a fantastic staff team committed to offering local children the highest standard of education, Edward has regularly visited the school and has followed its progress over the years. In 2017, Edward attended the official opening of new classrooms, which were made possible by Government funding, following a bid from the School’s Governors, which Edward also lent his strong support to.
Commenting, he said: “It is always a pleasure to visit Thrussington CE Primary School. Over the years I am proud of what the school has achieved, including the ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted, as well as the provision of new classrooms for the children, which I was pleased to have been able to assist with. Mrs Moore has provided fantastic leadership for the school over the years and I thank her for her valuable contribution to the education of local children in the village- I have no doubt that she will be hugely missed by her colleagues and the whole community & I wish her all the very best for her future endeavours.”
