Edward has been promoted by the Prime Minister, to the role of Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care.
Edward’s new responsibilities include:
- NHS Finance
- Capital, Land and Estates
- Hospitals
- Workforce Issues
- Transformation & Reform of the NHS
Edward said: “It is an honour to have been invited by the Prime Minister to take on the role of Minister of State for Health at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). While I will always continue to work hard to represent and champion the needs and concerns of my constituents in Charnwood, I also look forward to working with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, to protect and improve our fantastic NHS.”
