This year the weather was kind to Syston and shone on the 2018 Syston Carnival, which saw very large numbers of local people turning out to enjoy this fantastic annual event. Edward enjoyed a visit to the carnival, meeting stall-holders, and visiting the Syston Town News stand as well as the Town Council’s stand.
Edward said: "The sun was kind this year, and Syston took advantage of that to make the carnival a great success as always. It was particularly good to visit the Town Council stall and see the work Town Manager, Catherine Voyce and the Council are doing to encourage more local people to get involved, and to consider standing for the Council next year.
