Blaby District Council have been recognised in the RSPCA’s PawPrints Awards, with the awards celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, where hard working staff at the council achieved a Bronze Stray Dog Footprint for the work the council does to help provide top-class animal welfare services in the area.
This year the RSPCA received a great number of entries at a higher standard than ever, so the competition was tough, making Blaby DC’s achievement all the more impressive.
Edward commented: “We all care about animal welfare, so it was fantastic to join Defra Minister David Rutley, the team from the RSPCA and, most importantly, staff from Blaby DC, to celebrate the RSPCA ‘PawPrint’ Award to the Council in recognition of their work in going the extra mile to provide animal welfare services in the area – they should all, rightly, be very proud of the work they do.”
