Edward has met in Parliament with the team from Midlands Connect, a cross-Midlands partnership working to improve investment in transport in the Midlands, particularly east-west links.
Edward said: “As well as hearing about the region-wide projects Midlands Connect are developing, such as proposals to increase the use of rail freight, and the proposals for the A46 along its entire length, I took the opportunity to highlight local concerns about proposals for the A46 ‘Expressway’, and the need for upgrade works to a number of junctions on the A46, such as the Hobby Horse Roundabout.”
