Edward has joined members of Charnwood Painting and Drawing Club, local people, and the Mayor of Charnwood for the opening of the annual exhibition of pictures in Woodhouse Eaves Village Hall.
Charnwood Drawing and Painting Club are a group of amateur artists from Charnwood who meet up for regular demonstrations, to exhibit their art, and who share a common enthusiasm for painting and drawing. The exhibition showed works by members of the club, covering diverse range of subjects and styles.
Edward said: "It was a real pleasure to join Club Chairman, David Chaplin, the Mayor of Charnwood and Club Members and local residents for the opening of the exhibition. The art on display was of a fantastic standard, and covered a wide array of subjects and styles. Clubs like the Charnwood Painting and Drawing Club not only see people producing great works of art, but also play a huge role in creating a sense of community and bringing people together in our towns and villages.
My congratulations to David, Paul and everyone at the Club who helped organise this weekend's exhibition, but most importantly my congratulations to all those who exhibited their wonderful pictures."
