Edward has visited Keltruck's Groby workshop and depot to hear about the their business, contribution to the local economy, and to meet their team.
Keltruck is the largest independent Scania truck distributor in Europe, and runs a truck servicing and distribution centre on Bradgate Hill in Groby, which employs local people in skilled engineering and servicing roles. On his visit Edward was able to meet the local team to hear about their work keeping trucks from a wide range of businesses across the region on the road, but also to talk with the depot manager about the importance of good relationships between the business and the local community.
Edward said: "Keltruck is an important local business in Groby, with its workshop and depot on the A50 playing a role not only in providing skilled local jobs and contributing to the local economy, but also in helping keep trucks for moving for businesses across the East Midlands.
It was great to see the workshop and depot in action and to meet staff, but also to have the opportunity to talk to Keltruck's local manager about the importance of them having strong and open relationships with the local community, and their commitment to community engagement about their operations."
