Edward has met with the Leader and Chief Executive of Melton Borough Council, as Melton’s local MP, to discuss a wide range of issues affecting the borough and its residents, including funding, planning and development, housing, crime and ASB, the Melton Mowbray Distributor Road, the town centre, health provision in Melton, Melton’s villages and rural services, and a range of other matters.
Edward said: “Meetings such as this with MBC’s leadership provide very useful opportunities for us to discuss issues affecting the town and villages, and for me as the MP to raise specific issues with MBC and vice versa. I’m grateful to the Leader, Cllr Allnatt, and the Chief Executive for their time, and for a constructive discussion, and look forward to further regular meetings.”
