UPDATE - Further to Edward pressing Severn Trent Water (STW) to work with him, Councillor James Poland, Leicestershire County Council, and local residents to find a way forward to tackle flooding issues in Main Street following heavy rain, STW has now responded, agreeing to meet with Edward and Cllr James Poland in Cossington to discuss ways to solve the problem.
Edward said: "I am grateful to STW for agreeing to meet me in Cossington, and look forward to us agreeing a date soon so that we can make progress in bringing STW & LCC together to resolve this issue which is having a significant impact on some local residents after heavy rain."
