As in previous years, Edward has attended the annual ‘Open Doors’ charity event in Parliament, to learn more about the threats to freedom of religion around the world, and the publication by the ‘Open Doors’ charity of the World Watch List 2024.
Edward said: “It is always a pleasure to attend the ‘Open Doors’ event in Parliament, along with many colleagues, particularly as I know the issue of freedom of religious expression is very important not just to me, but to many of my constituents. The event provided an opportunity to obtain a copy of the report which was launched at the event, setting out the threats to freedom of religion around the world, but also where progress has been made.”
