Edward has dropped in to a heritage exhibition ay St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church in Syston boasting a wonderful display of vintage toys across the decades. The exhibition not only brought to life the history of childhood and toys in this country, through the amazing collection of different toys through the decades, but also brought people into the church to enjoy the exhibition, and to enjoy the magnificent church building
Commenting, Edward said: “It was a real pleasure to drop in to the magnificent St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church in Syston to see the heritage exhibition of children’s toys across the decades. The extraordinary collection of toys, some dating from early in the last century, were a living social history of childhood in our country, and I was pleased to show my support for this very thought-provoking exhibition.”
