Edward was delighted to see CBC recognised as part of the RSPCA’s Paw Prints Awards 2022, being awarded the Gold Stray Dog Services Award. The well-deserved award reflects the hard work and dedication of the team at CBC to delivering outstanding services to our local communities, and to animal welfare.
The Paw Prints scheme, run by RSPCA, sets out to recognise local councils, housing associations, contingency planners, and other public sector organisations that go above and beyond in ensuring high animal welfare standards.
Congratulating Charnwood Borough Council, Edward said: “I’d like to congratulate the council on wining a Gold Stray Dog Services Award. We are a nation of animal lovers, and this award reflects the fantastic work put in by the team at CBC to help promote the welfare of dogs locally.”
