In advance of Remembrance Day Edward has placed a cross of remembrance, remembering all those from Charnwood who gave their lives for their country in conflict, or who are veterans, in the House of Commons Garden of Remembrance in New Palace Yard.
Edward said: “As we approach Remembrance Sunday, and events on 11th November to commemorate those who gave their lives for our freedom, who are veterans, and those who continue to serve in defence of our country, it was a privilege to place a cross of remembrance, dedicated to those from Charnwood, in the House of Commons Garden of Remembrance. “
