Ahead of Armistice Day 2023 Edward has placed a cross of remembrance, remembering all those from Charnwood who gave their lives for their country in conflict, or who are veterans, in the House of Commons Garden of Remembrance in New Palace Yard.
Edward said: “Ahead of Armistice Day and our weekend of remembrance to commemorate those who gave their lives for our freedom, who are veterans, and those who continue to serve in our armed forces, it was a privilege to place a cross of remembrance, dedicated to those from Charnwood, in the House of Commons Garden of Remembrance.“
