Voters in the Charnwood constituency went to the polls yesterday to elect local Borough and District Councillors for the next 4 years, seeing Conservative Councillors elected across the constituency, winning 26 out of the 32 seats contested in wards for Charnwood BC, Blaby DC, and Hinckley & Bosworth BC.
Edward said: “This is a fantastic set of results for Conservative Councillors across the constituency, reflecting their hard work, delivering low council tax and excellent local services, and being a strong local voice for their communities. I want to pay tribute to all who stood in the elections, whether they were successful or not, for being willing to serve their local community.”
