Edward has visited The Latimer Primary School in Anstey, where he had a tour of the school and its new buildings, followed by a Q&A session with pupils from Year 6, who asked a range of questions on topical issues such as climate change and Brexit, as well as having the opportunity to discuss school funding with the Head of School.
Edward said: “I was grateful for The Latimer Primary School’s offer to visit and participate in a Q&A session with Year 6 students. The school, that received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted, provides a fantastic education for local children, and boasts a great team of staff, who are all committed to ensuring the development and wellbeing of the pupils in their care. I was also pleased to have had the opportunity to discuss the issue of school funding with the Head of School, Claire Cooke, and look forward to having similar conversations, on future visits.”
