Edward has joined the team from Keep Britain Tidy at an event in Parliament to support their campaign, and to highlight the importance of all of us playing our part in keeping our countryside, as well as our towns and villages, litter-free and clean.
Litter in our streets, lanes, and countryside is a blight on our towns and villages. We all have a role to play in reducing the amount of waste we produce, but where we do have waste, ensuring we dispose of it properly, ideally by recycling it and where that isn’t possible, ensuring its thrown away in a litter bin.
Edward commented: “As well as organising an annual Keep Britain Tidy ‘Great British Spring Clean’ to bring people together on litter-picks across the country, Keep Britain Tidy do fantastic work in highlighting the action all of us can take to play our part in keeping our beautiful countryside litter-free. It is important we all do our bit.”
