Edward has visited Broomfield Primary School in East Goscote to discuss school funding with Headteacher, Ms Alex Allison, to speak with students and staff, and to see the school in action.
As well as observing lessons, and being shown round the school by pupils, Edward took the opportunity to discuss schools funding and the need for better signage for the school with the Headteacher.
Following the visit, Edward commented: “It was great to visit Broomfield Primary and talk with the Headteacher. The school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, delivers a high quality education to children from East Goscote and beyond. As well as discussing school finance, we also discussed what more could be done to better signpost and highlight the school as an option for local parents.”
