Edward has joined Melton residents and visitors to begin Christmas celebrations with a visit to the renowned annual Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary’s Church to see the many beautifully decorated trees exhibited by local schools, community groups, organisations, and individuals.
Edward said: “There was a warm welcome for everyone at Melton Mowbray’s famous Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary’s Church, with a stunning display of trees, and visitors coming in large numbers not just from the town itself, but from far and wide. Huge congratulations to everyone who decorated and exhibited Christmas Trees, and to everyone involved in organizing such a special event. It was a fantastic way to kick-off the festive season!”
