Edward has met with representatives of Guide Dogs in Parliament to talk to them about their important work here in Leicestershire and across the country, and to hear more about their campaign to raise awareness of the impact inconsiderate 'pavement parking' can have on blind and partially-sighted people, and what can be done to improve things.
Edward said: "It is always a pleasure to meet with the team from Guide Dogs, as I have done previously on many occasions since I was first elected as an MP in 2015, to get updates on their work and their campaigns. The charity is, rightly, hugely respected across the country for the life changing work it does for blind and partially-sighted people, and I wanted to show my public support for their work, and hear more about what can be done to tackle inconsiderate pavement-parking."
