Edward has done an early morning post delivery round in Syston with well-known local postie Sandra who has been delivering letters and parcels to people in Syston for over 30 years.
Edward said: “Our postal service remains something we should be proud of, and we should all thank our posties, like Sandra, for their work. Doing the delivery round with her it was impossible not to notice just how much local knowledge she had of every house, of her concern for the people on her round, as well as her determination to provide the best service to people she could. It was both a privilege and great fun to spend the mornings delivery round with her.”
