Edward has joined local residents, Councillors, and local Scouts to celebrate the completion and official opening of Woodhouse Eaves' new Scout & Community Youth Hall.
The new Scout Hall, which has been funded by donations from local people, foundations and charities, and with huge support and work by local Parish Councillors, will provide a safe and purpose-built base for local scouts, with modern facilities that will accommodate the different activities of the thriving local scout group.
Edward said: "It was fantastic to join County Councillor Deborah Taylor, Parish Council Chair Peter Searanke, and other councillors and local residents, and the scouts themselves, to celebrate the completion of this important project, and the official opening of this state-of-the-art building that will provide a much needed facility for local young people. I congratulate all those involved in the project for their amazing work in delivering such an important local amenity in Woodhouse Eaves."
