Edward has joined local Mountsorrel residents to begin Christmas celebrations with community ‘Carols on the Green’, and then a visit to the Christmas Tree and Crib Festival in Christchurch Church in the village to see the beautifully decorated trees and cribs by local schools, community groups, and individuals.
Edward said: “Despite the chilly day, there was a warm welcome for everyone at Mountsorrel’s carol service on The Green, and later looking at the Christmas trees and cribs in the church. The events brought the community together to celebrate the coming of Christmas, and it was a fantastic way to kick-off the festive season locally!”
