Edward has met with the team from Dementia UK to discuss their fantastic work supporting people with dementia & their families, and what more can be done to improve support. Dementia UK are the specialist dementia nursing charity whose Admiral Nurses are increasingly well-known and hugely valued. They provide free, advice and hugely important support to anyone affected by dementia.
Edward said: “Dementia UK, and their Admiral Nurses, do amazing, life-changing, work to support people with dementia and their families. Dementia is an issue I have taken a close interest in, and campaigned on, since before I entered Parliament, and something that impacts more and more people, so it was great to catch up with Dementia UK, who I try to meet with regularly, to get an update on their work, and what more we can do to boost the support for people with dementia and their families.”
