Marking Apprenticeship Week, Edward has met with apprentices from local brewery group, Everards, at an event in Parliament.
The event celebrating and showcasing apprenticeships in the pub, bar, brewing and casual dining sector brought over 120 apprentices from employers across the country together to show case their skills and talk to MPs about the opportunities apprenticeships brought to them as well as to the companies they work for.
Following the event Edward said: “The Everards apprentices I met were hugely impressive, in their commitment, their understanding of the business, and their attitude. Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for businesses to grow talent and develop a skilled, motivated, workforce; and a fantastic opportunity for people to earn while they learn. The apprentices I met were a great advertisement for apprenticeships.”
