Edward has joined local Councillors Deborah Taylor, Paul Baines, & David Snartt, and Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the new Mid Leicestershire Constituency, Cllr Peter Bedford, at the annual Anstey Summer Gala.
Dating back to 1977, in celebration of the Silver Jubilee, the Anstey Summer Gala is a key event in the calendar for the whole village community and boasts a range of stalls, entertainment and performances. The Gala is organised through the collective efforts of a volunteer committee, Anstey Parish Council, Anstey Town Charity and local businesses, with the profits being donated to charity, and is always a highlight of the summer.
Edward said: “It is always a real pleasure to attend the Anstey Summer Gala and, come rain or shine, the stalls, performances and friendly faces are guaranteed to mean everyone has a good time. It was a particular pleasure this you to be joined by Councillor Peter Bedford. I want to thank the volunteer committee, the Parish Council, Town Charity and all local businesses for their contribution in making the Anstey Gala a real fixture in the diaries of all residents.
