Edward has joined local County and Borough Councillor Deborah Taylor, at the annual Anstey Summer Gala.
Dating back to 1977, in celebration of the Silver Jubilee, the Anstey Summer Gala is a key event in the calendar for the whole village community and boasts a range of stalls, entertainment and performances. The Gala is organised through the collective efforts of a volunteer committee, Anstey Parish Council, Anstey Town Charity and local businesses, with the profits being donated to charity, and is always a highlight of the summer.
Edward said: “Every year, one of my favourite events to attend is the Anstey Summer Gala and, come rain or shine, the stalls, performances and friendly faces are guaranteed to bring a smile to all that attend. I want to thank the volunteer committee, the Parish Council, Town Charity and all local businesses for their contribution in making the Anstey Gala a real staple in the diaries of all residents. This year the Gala was, as ever, a complete success and I very much look forward to attending next year!”
