Edward has visited the hugely popular Swithland show to see the fantastic garden produce and baking that village residents have produced and put on display.
Commenting Edward said: "Village shows like Swithland's are part of what makes summer in our part of the world special. Not only are they a great opportunity to enjoy looking at the fantastic produce people have grown, but they are occasions which bring the whole village community together. I congratulate all those who have exhibited at the Show - the standard was amazingly high, and I pay tribute to the hard work of all those who helped organise and stage the show which made it such a great success."
